National Doctor's Day Special....Someone's Hope! Someone's Hero! ....
Let’s celebrate
the heroes of the world for all their resolute hard working the COVID-19 pandemic.
If
we did not recognize the importance of doctors before, we are certainly
learning just how much they contribute to society, amid the coronavirus pandemic. While we are
self-isolating, it is the doctors who are constantly fighting for the lives of
people who have been infected with the deadly virus. With the number of
infected people on the rise every day and hospitals teeming with hundreds of
people, it has never been more important to appreciate the efforts that doctors
make to ensure that we sufficiently recover from whatever may be ailing us and
continue to remain healthy. Doctors are truly the greatest heroes, of not just
the present but of all time.
National Doctor’s Day is celebrated on July 1st
in honor of the pioneer of the medical practice in India and the former
CM of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, whose contribution to the
health care industry are incomparable. Dr Roy was honored with the country’s highest civilian award, Bharat Rant,
on February 4, 1961. In 1991, India started celebrating the National Doctor's
Day in honor of Dr Roy as a great physician.
- “Only a doctor is blessed with the magical powers to treat a life, to bring health into our lives and to be there with us when we have lost all the hopes.”
- The doctors who always put their patients first and do their best to gift health to their patients.”
- “A doctor is bestowed with the eye to see and treat weakness in mankind. He is the one who can give us hope when we are in trouble.”
- “Doctors are special, and this year is one where we have seen them as our real-life heroes. Doctor’s Day is an opportunity to thank all the heroes in the medical fraternity for their selfless contributions. They are pulling long hours and working round the clock as the world is gripped with this pandemic.
Doctor’s Day was established by the Government of India in 1991 to
be recognized and celebrated every year on July 1 every year in India. Doctor’s Day is observed
on different dates across the world. In the United States, the day is
observed on March 30, in Cuba on December 3, in UK on May 12 and in Iran on
August 23.
- “The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.”
- “Medicines cure diseases, but only doctors can cure patients.”
With the number of infected people
on the rise every day and hospitals teeming with hundreds of people, it has
never been more important to appreciate the efforts that doctors make to ensure
that we sufficiently recover from whatever may be ailing us and continue to
remain healthy.
Wishing a very Happy Doctor’s Day to our dearest doctor who
is always an inspiration for all the staff members… Keep motivating us and
helping us grow!!
