‘TASS’ Russian news agency is the source of news that the Russian scientists have successfully completed human trials and the vaccine is absolutely safe.

The University started the first trial on 18 June and the second trial on 23 June. If the claim of Russia comes true then it will be the first coronavirus vaccine by which we can get rid of the virus. Many nations of the world including India, are busy preparing coronavirus vaccine.

University claims that it is going to the forefront of producing the world’s first vaccine, named Gam-COVID-Vac Lyo.

According to the main researcher of a Russian university, all human trials of the vaccine have been completed, but only 38 volunteers (first group involved 18 volunteers and the second group involved 20 volunteers) were involved in the study.

After vaccination, all volunteers would be kept in isolation in the hospital for 28 days.

The report proves that volunteers of the first and second groups are forming a better immune response after injections of the vaccine.

According to Alexander Lukashev, director of (Institute of Medical Parasitology Tropical and Vector-Born Diseases) Sechnov University's says, "Our aim was to successfully produce the vaccine of COVID-19 to protect humans." He further added that all aspects of the vaccine have been tested for the safety of all humans and it is expected that if all the permission is received then it will be available in the market by September.

But, according to the WHO (World Health Organization), any vaccine is not considered safe to be used on masses unless it successfully goes through three phases (Phase-2 requires at least a hundred volunteers and thousands across regions and countries in Phase-3) of human trials.

It's very early to declare that the vaccine is safe for human use although it has tremendous potential, Scientific proof is needed.
